Luscious cherry and strawberry, slightly effervescent almost. Nutty and sweet on the finish, some minerality, guessing that’s the Brachetto. — 2 years ago
Not quite enough flavor, decent strawberry and watermelon, decent acid and a hint of spice. The flavor is balanced but I just want more, still okay for price. The 1753 is much better. — 2 years ago
Trying at the Wine Vault. Subtle aromas of cherry, slightly funky. Rich fruit and lots of depth to taste. Loved by the big reds group I’m with. — 6 months ago
Brian Brakesman winemaker. Supple and smooth, slight vanilla, lush blackberry, subtle spice from old-vine Zin. Perfection to drink 2016 in 20121. — a year ago
Nice light cherry notes, slightly gamey and herbal, balanced and delicious. — 2 years ago
Seeing that this is likely a Beaujolais Nouveau makes sense as far as the price and flavor profile. Slight bubble gum with slightly meaty flavor with the fruit: cherry, blackberry, nice smokiness. — 2 years ago
Deep dark red, aromas of vanilla, cassis, plum, currant. So so smooth and buttery. 22 months in American oak but it doesn’t overpower the fruit. Tastes of shortbread and raspberry and currant jam. Slightly toasted, almonds and leather. Very try, long finish. — 8 months ago
Gamey, cherry, blackberry, nice balanced acid and tannins. Really nice blend, amazing value too! — 2 years ago
Busting with watermelon and strawberry but nice and dry, slight spice and some florals on the finish. Hints of cherry too, nice bright acid to keep it fresh. Really enjoyable for late summer! — 2 years ago

2014 in 2022. Aromas of burnt caramel popcorn and of course vanilla. Sharply smooth with lots of ML, surprised how much I love this as I don’t usually love super oaky Chard. Funky, doesn’t taste like any I’ve ever had, lemon curd shining through. — 3 months ago
