Grenache based CDP that has some Syrah and Mourvèdre blended in. Dark ruby color with bright garnet highlights. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry and violets. Red berry fruit driven palate also includes notes of red licorice, baking spices and hint of asphalt. Lovely long earthy finish. Brisk acidity, dry and slightly chewy tannins. 2023 vintage. ‘23’s here already. This CDP blanc checking in at less than half the going rate for many CDP blancs and over-delivering. Slightly oily and vibrant, stone fruit nose mixed with minerals. Such a nice change of pace just in time. Vote for Summer. 6.19.24. — 5 months ago
