Two hours of air was probably one too much! This is one of my favourite Chardonnay — 6 days ago
The best nose i have smelled for a pinot in my life. Hard to describe but i had truffles, red fruit, spices, layers upon layers...in the mouth the length was long but had a dip in the middle. Only reason i did not give it a perfect score. A memorable moment — a month ago

Strawberry, blackberry, smoke, graphite and earth with spice on the finish. Nice everyday Bourgogne. — 22 days ago
🏅 Rating 94/100 (4,4⭐)
Beautiful clear bright ruby color. One can sense high breed of top Burgundy right away. Immense depth. Bouquet of forest red berries with some black, forest floor, Indian spices, sandal wood. With some time in the glass develops floral aromas of dark red roses. It feels like it has significant influence of new oak, but it is very well integrated and adds to wine's complexity.
Smooth, but rich and ripe juicy on the palate.
Tannins are also ripe and finely grained giving pleasant mouth feel. All elements are in perfect balance as you want your Grand Cru to be. Looong finish.
Wine opened its drinking window and delivers ultimate pleasure already.
It has this Corton character which gravitates towards Côte de Beaune rather than Côte de Nuits.
This is Domaine Bouchard, not their negociant wine. Own grapes come from 3,95 ha East facing vineyard in historic lieu-dit of Le Corton. — a month ago
Aromatics have a lot of lemon, some white fruit but also still a clear oaky feel to it. The wine is powerful, full bodied, good acidity, nice richness and the balance is good but there is a slight alcohol dominance on the finish. Nice bottle but not great. And not the most expensive Grand Cru but I will take many Premiers crus before that, shows there are no short cuts in Burgundy.
— 11 days ago
This lovely white burgundy is simply splendid and fresh, the nose is a lovely blend of minerality, citrus, crushed stones, hint of grapefruit and green apple, the body is medium with crispy fresh acidity and a lovely delicious finish. A wine well made and that goes fantastic with white fish or on it own.
