Borgogno Francesco

Francesco Boschis

Sori San Martino Dogliani Superiore Dolcetto 2019

Deep purple in color (I can only see light through the edges of the glass); cassis, black cherries, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberries, blackberries, hibiscus, wet gravel, and a hint of black pepper with a long fruity finish. I love this wine. Nellie doesn't Iike it. — 21 days ago

Lots of acidity. Bit of petrol. I like it but not worth the $40 — a month ago

Got this wine as a Christmas gift. It’s really lovely and unique. Nose = slate, chalk, terra cotta and ocean air. Body = medium. Some good acidity but not overbearing. Main flavors = cranberry and under ripened pineapple. Some sweetness mid palate with a pleasant dry finish. — 4 months ago
