Delicious deep long finish — 19 days ago
Had this at Marc179. Josh's choice. Very nice. — a month ago
At first a blast of dark fruit, plum, blueberries, black currants and violet. Then a hint of green pepper then chocolate and wood. Super smooth integrated tannins, tiniest bit grippy at the end. Finish is loooong. Later as it opened some black tea also. Super. — 16 hours ago
A lovely soft fruit presence with an inviting aroma. Softly sweet through the palette. — 23 days ago
Wine is dark ruby, with purplish on the edge. On nose its ripe fruit, floral parfumed, oak in there, violets, tobacco. On palate, wine is full bodied, jammy, fine acidity, tannic, wine is open up after 1 hour decant. The intensity is there. Its still too young to drink. Try it after 2026. Red bordeaux blend, Cheers! — a month ago
Chocolatey, leathery mouth feel with mainly dark cherry from a fruit perspective. A tiny little spice on the back with a touch of nutmeg. Paired well with Goulash Di Manzo (short rib stew over polenta with mushrooms). — 24 days ago
Very nice Bordeaux blend. Nice spicy aroma with good finish. Peppery at end. Still has tannins and should age for 5-10 years. Vintage. 2020 — a month ago
Shows the benefits of blending. Well balanced, ripe berry and wet bark notes, spicy and full on palate. A bit alcoholic. — a month ago
Bob McDonald
A wonderfully balanced Cabinet blend from Bolgheri. Definitely Cabernet notes but so balanced that nothing stands out. Sassicaia is definitely Bordeaux First or Second Growth standard. Understated but irresistible nonetheless. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon; 15% Cabernet Franc. Probably one of the best non Bordeaux Cabernet blends. — 23 days ago
