Fruity nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, light flowers, spices, light oak, licorice, tobacco and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with sweet raspberries, cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, coffee, black pepper, spices, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf and herbs.

Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to do so in the next 5 years.

Elegant and nicely balanced, complex and entertaining. Soft, smooth and easy drinking.

Wine Enthusiasts 92 points.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A good porch wine too.

2019 vintage. Oak attack if served above 65 degrees. Def essential to get that temp down to the 55-64 range so as to conduct pleasant conversation. Otherwise, it’s just screaming/noise. Previous vintage exhibited the same tendency whereas 2017 and before generally didn’t (to this extreme). Hoping it’s not trending that direction but suspect it is. Some splendid complexities once past the rapids. Medium-heavy body. 4.22.26. — 3 months ago

Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.

Beautiful nose and medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red and black fruits with cedar, licorice, chocolates, herbs, light earth, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and light green vegetables.

Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This iconic Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Santa Cruz Mountains in California is still very young, but already delicious, even by itself.

Needs a few hours to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 30 years. Showing good potential to become a 95+ point wine.

A great sipping wine that paired beautifully with my Lamb chops.

A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged in American oak barrels for 20 months.
