2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon selection from different steep, southwest-facing hillside plots from the 400-acre Truchard Estate Vineyard. A beautiful restrained Cab featuring cassis, dark chocolate, cedar wood, graphite, and some smokiness. Very fresh, with layers of juicy black fruits, a tight backbone of ripe tannin, and a very long mineral finish. Abv. 14,2%. This should age beautifully for at least 15 years .Very reasonably priced by Napa standards at 125 USD. 168 cases produced. — 10 months ago
The vintage for white burgundy has really focused up since release, far more incisive, balanced and better showcasing terroir. Such is the case for 15 Ruchottes, one of the best plots in Chassagne, often of Grand Cru quality. It’s still showing young, but plenty giving, immensely concentrated, ample and rich with all the Ramonet goodies- white orchard fruit, white flowers, vanilla bean, macadamia nut and the signature spearmint freshness. A spine of racy acids and layered minerality provides the perfect balance to its richness. Beautiful wine, with (seemingly) many years to go. — 18 days ago
A step up from their village wine 30,000 Maravedies. 100% Garnacha from old vines from three different plots on mostly granite soils. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Less floral, more concentrated than 30.000 Maravedies. Quite serious. — a year ago
Blend of 83% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 6% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Nice! — 21 days ago
Plenty of flavor. Great value — 5 months ago
What a great buy under $20. Powerful, flavorful wine of apricot and citrus. Good for strong cheese or on its own. — 10 months ago
Boxing Day 2022 at OKH. Good balance of body and acidity.
100% old-vine Aligoté. The main plot in Corgoloin’s Le Clou was planted in 1934, and other older plots are included, with the oldest being one planted in 1902 in Magny-lès-Villers. Vinified and bottled completely without addition of sulphur.
“A pale lemon yellow, but more important is the heavenly bouquet, apples, lemon zest, evidently significant dry extract, fills the mouth, adequate acidity, and very persistent. An Aligoté of impeccable character.” Jasper Morris, MW — a year ago

Stunning. Delicious. One of my fav wines of the last 1.5 years. Godello aged under flor that competes with white Burgundy/ Sonoma Coast chards that cost double. Sourced from two tiny plots of 80-100 yr old vines. 80% old foudre, 20% amphora under flor, no malo, no stirring. Sunny bouquet, honeycomb, Asian pear, gun flint, crushed stone, brisk, seamless, cool and classy. $55. — 13 days ago
