Columbia county 2.0: Rose for Lopez fans like me suffering from recent sticker shock. Instead of 100$ it’s closer to 30$ & while not bearing that same intensity of acidity & barrage of tertiary flavors, close enough. More a lozenge red color, Unami & light red fruit notes, & a very solid acid backbone but not zingy. More like a light red. Paired very well w sliced grapefruit & orange w a tahini sauce, z’atar, & crispy hot onion oil. — a year ago
