Mild, bursting with cherries, dry — a month ago
Another very good red blend, which is soft. Cherries and dark chocolate are our notes. Paired well with steak salad — 8 months ago
Love a nice rosé. Like this one. — 12 days ago
Drank at Le Vigneron’s wine tasting on 24 Sep 2024 in Plymouth.
Very dark red, ruby on the rim.
Soft tannins on first intake on the nose, spices.
Berries, cherries and some oak on the mouth.
Really nice. — a month ago
Big, ripe nose of candied cherries, spice, raspberry coulis, dried leaves and roses. Gorgeous nose. Unreal minerality as well. So expansive. Juicy and deep with very ripe fruit and a skoche of heat. Let’s see if it resolves. Good freshness and energy. — a month ago
After about 30 minutes it tastes better. Let it sit. Nice vino — 7 months ago
Loud, generous, rich. — a year ago
See previous note from 96 weeks ago where I said that I would drink the last one when my son Hugh was home from NY (born 1987) which came to pass last night. Overall not as impressive as the previous tasting but retains its silky tannin structure. Very dark in colour - opaque. Notes of cassis and pipe tobacco - overall dusty without the depth of fruit of the previous tasting. Just medium bodied. Tasting Book recommend a drinking window till 2035 which I would not agree with. Leads me to think I will be drinking my bottles of 86 Mouton sooner rather than later. — 3 years ago

Light smoky aroma, semi-sweet finish, light and more balanced than most Tempranillo wines (note - the app says this is a “Red Blend” but it is 100% Tempranillo). Paired nicely with a Puerto Rican-style steak and onions dish (Bistec Encebollado). — 4 days ago
