Bright and sour yet balanced. My favorite — 4 months ago
Barbera d’Asti achieved DOCG status in 2008. Warm vibrant Ruby color with a bouquet of berry fruit aromas and sweet perfumed herb spice. On the palate flavors of plum, cherry and blackberry with pepper and herbs, good structure, balanced with savory acidity and soft tannins. Medium+ finish ending with juicy fruit. Exceptional! Great Value! — 2 months ago
Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of bramble berries, purple flowers and fresh herbs. Red raspberry, red currant and red cherry flavors dominate the palate with a hint of blueberry, roasted nuts and wet soil. Nice savory finish. Very little tannin and a nice amount of acidity. — 2 months ago

The origins of the Damilano family dates back to over a century ago, when Guiseppe Borgogno, the great-grandfather of the current owners, started to grow and make wine from his own grapes. Medium Ruby with aromas of fresh berry fruits and generous spice. On the palate this medium body wine shows flavors of juicy cherry and blackberry with notes of citrus and vanilla spice. Light tannin structure, lively acidity, medium ending with fruit finish. Nice value. Drink now, consistent, no aging benefit. — 4 months ago
