Minimal tannin, delicious with food, easy to drink — a year ago
Translucent garnet with a bit of oranging.
Floral nose with red currant and raspberry fruit.
Light bodied, upright acidity and astringency giving way to velvet tannins. Probably has another 10 years before peaking. — 4 years ago
Great Arinto. The Azores. Love it! — 4 years ago
Incredible bouquet but took a long time to open up and for the mineral and acid to mellow. Smooth and gentle when it finally did. Would only go for cellared bottles. — 6 months ago
Light, dry, peppery. Quite nice — 10 months ago
The 2020 Gattinara is elegant and lifted. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon and orange peel grace this ethereal, nuanced Gattinara. Bright saline notes and sweet red-toned fruit build into the long, persistent finish. Understated and silky, the 2020 is exquisite. All this needs is a few years to soften. A bit dry but still really enjoyed the flavor and finish, and a decent value — 3 years ago
85%Sorbara, 10% Sauv blanc, 5% Chardonnay.
N: Vauge almonds, peaches, Apricot.

Quite refreshing, not too serious.
A nice find from the Veneto.

Very good dry Lambrusco — a year ago
Powerful, and concentrated, marked sweetness; wide mouths with balanced tannins, well-integrated alcohol despite its 15 degrees. Deep nose with ripe fruits, and spices, raisins, prunes, fig confit. Orange blossoms, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, underwood. Remanent finish, Intense wine. To drink in 5/10 years
Puissant, et concentré, sucrosité marquée; bouches ample aux tanins équilibrés, alcool bien intégré en dépit de ses 15 degrés.
Nez dense de fruits mûres, et d’épices, raisins secs, pruneaux, confit de figue. Fleurs d’oranger, vanille, chocolat, tabac, sous-Bois. Finale rémanente sur le bouquet du nez. Vin intense. Doit vieillir. — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2021 pours a bright garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fabulous notes of wild raspberries, Morello cherry, freshly cut roses, cedar chest, orange zest, alpine herbs and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is really beautiful stuff. The nose alone positively slays. Drink now through 2041. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 2 months ago
