Way better on day two after opening. A lot of earth and herbs. Plums, cherry, good amount of tannin. I feel like if this was distilled it would be fernet. There’s a lot of herbs and forest greenery, but it still manages to stay light and fruity enough to make it really enjoyable. Looking forward to trying more Sicilian wines. — a month ago

Loving 19’s and the long, bright future ahead for this vintage. Pure, elegant, balanced. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby core , little more lighter garnet rim . Quite aromatic , spicy red plum , pine resin , red cherry and herbal , tobacco hints . On the palate a little richer and denser than the 2021 , herbal tinged red and dark fruits , pretty high acidity with more dusty tannins . Overall a bigger more structured tannic framed wine . Very long and powerful on the finish . Mineral and fresh summer fruit finish . This is very young still needs probably another decade , but is very promising . Balanced but powerful . Will probably have a longer life than the more refined and elegant 2021 — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner. I’m just going to cut to the chase: the 2021 Serraboella is absolutely stunning. The wine pours a beautiful ruby color with a brilliant, transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous, concentrated notes of ripe red and dark fruit: Morello cherry, roses, talcum powder, dry earth and exotic Eastern spices. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. This is a sapid Barbaresco with a finish that lasts FOR-EV-ER. There is so much power and grace. So much balance. In such a special vintage, the Cigliuti sisters allowed their fruit from Serraboella to become a wine that is sure to become legendary. Drink now through 2061. — a day ago
