Azienda Agricola Valentini
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo
Cherry pits, raspberries, mineral. Much better closer to room temp. Tannic grip closer to a red wine. Long and complex 🔥

Jul 25th, 2021A bit clumsy and brutish, but beyond that a very unique and thought provoking rosé

May 27th, 2021Doesn’t give much at first aromatically. In fact what it does give is quite stinky, savoury. But suddenly, as though it’s struggling to find its way out of a cage, you find the purest of cherries, minerals, green veg. This is pristine on the palate. Elegant but concentrated. Fine, hushed, but grounding tannins. Very lucky to try this. I understand why people seek it out. Very distinctive. But it’s nothing relative to Valentini’s white.
