Alta Alella

AA Bruant Cava Xarello 2021

Killer Cava - basket of bread, sweet apples, fennel, mint, and berry aura hovering.

Bone dry with some bite and even though it dissipates, personality fills the spaces between the bubbles.

Privat Seftenberger Pellingen Erste Lage Grüner Veltliner 2013

Surprisingly full-bodied with a bit furry petrol starting to peak in to the papaya mango notes. Bit awkward. — 7 months ago

Thought it was AA Vacheron, but from JR, a really nice balanced complex rose, as per the ‘13. Who said rose can’t age? — 2 years ago

At Therese Chris. 8/5/23. What an interesting wine! A white floral yet early profile with an almost creamy palate and chewy texture and long acidic finish. AA deal (5 with 10 Chard!) and first taste. Well liked by all. — a year ago

Privat Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Proper tropical fruity wine with depth and complexity...not your typical SB by any means and is well worth a try — 4 months ago

Oh yeah, forgot already had one, this might be it. Alive and well and tasting as if it’s in that old yet spry stage! Oh AA 14 deal and had six to start. — a year ago

Cameron Winery

Reserve Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017

Pop and pour yesterday, to avoid digging into my Clos Electrique stash.. It's true there is a ton of bottle variation aa regards Brett in Cameron wines...my previous btl was evidently a lot Brettier than this one. This btl was stunning. Notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: perfumed wild strawberry, soft mushroomy funk, spice. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density, dark raspberry, crushed stone, lovely tang, soft tannin on the finish. Yum. — 3 years ago
