Similar to a Cote-du-Rhône: tangy black fruit, some aging notes tending towards sweet spices: pepper, cinnamon, cloves .. nice balance, nice supple texture and digestible on the palate. Strawberry finish. Very pleasant

Frutos negros en sabor y olor. Regusto sabor higo y arándanos. Delicioso, solo eso sí, si no te agradan los vinos salados, este no es tu vino. Los vinos de la Ribera del Guadiana me recuerdan mi visita a Cáceres, la patria de Hernán Cortés, muy ácidos, ideal en un corte como Sirlon o Arrachera. Los vinos europeos no suelen ser tan salados, como los de México o Sudamérica pero éste es riquísimo.
Black fruits in flavor and smell. Incredible taste flavor figs and blueberries. Delicious, only that if you do not like salty wines, this is not your wine. The Ribera del Guadiana wines remind me of my visit to Cáceres, the homeland of Hernán Cortés, very acid, ideal in a cut like Sirlon or Arrachera. El otro día me invitaron a ser jurado del examen de servicio en la Escuela Peruana de Sommelieres, una de las alumnas tuvo la gentileza de obsequiarme este tempranillo, tiempo que no degustaba uno. Me prepare una tabla de quesos para acompañarlo y aproveche que habían separado para mi un lomo saltado de cerdo con arroz, quien sabe (se me ocurre ahora), hubiese acompañado mejor con un rose, en fin… en el maridaje nada está dicho, el Viña Ane con DOC lo disfrute mucho así como el momento en familia y amigos, saludos #winelovers #vino #vinos #wine

Me encanta acompañar este vino con mi sándwich preferido, jamón del país, queso gouda, pan ciabatta integral untado con mostaza Dijon a discreción, recordé que este era mi almuerzo cuando viajaba a Ica, solo paraba en Chincha a tomarme un café en el Batan. Mesmerizing nose of rich, slightly ripe red and black fruits that are unmistakably Napa, licorice, prune, smoked meat, black tea, dark chocolate, dried mushroom, cigar box, all tightly knit together. The palate was equally impressive with warm soft texture and complex layer. The full body is self-assured with power and grace. Velvety tannins still has baby teeth. And the lightly spiced and sweet finish lasts for minutes.

Strong tannin, robust flavor. Cherry, oak, baking spice right off the bat, cinnamon and vanilla. Let it breath for a bit and you get plum and raspberry. Mild to medium acidity. Had this at the Old Homestead with prime porterhouse for two. Amazing with the steak. Also steak was fantastic — 9 years ago
