1st of 3 wines part of a virtual work happy hour from the Mrs. Single vineyard #sonomamountain #chardonnay. Citrus, white floral notes, some banana pudding on the nose. Honeyed lemon rind, delicate vanilla, buttery notes and a faint mineral backbone. Unmistakeably Sonoma Chardonnay but the tasting host said it was the most European of their various Chardonnay offerings. Our local tasting group agreed this was the best of the 3 wines in the tasting group though we are Old World style proponents to be sure.
