Great refreshing blend from our favorite Cottonwood winery. Tasty summer drink — 9 days ago
Iron, tomato leaf, cherry, sage. Classic Italiano. Delivers that wonderful red fruit and balance that Sangiovese does. Tannins are still kicking. This one has some time to go to peak, but still delicious now. — a month ago
Seafood/salmon friendly. A bit more sweet that I’d like but still very good. A compromise to the Occhipinti that we can’t find anywhere. — a month ago
NOSE: blackberry and blueberry - juicy and fresh. Mild baking spice. Smells simple but inviting.
TASTE: quite pleasant. Soft (but not too soft - enough tannin and heft and nice acidity to balance), fruity (dark berries as the nose). Finishes with cherry and a little woody tannin, but still silky, Perfect example of simple, approachable wine done very well - no off tastes whatever. This is enjoyable and a good deal for the $13 I paid, in my opinion. 90. — 3 days ago
Easy drinking, slightly effervescent. Nice and tart, lemon peel, some minerality. Great wine! — 9 days ago
Yes, a rosé - but different.
Fantastic evening with my dear @Lucchin! Love!! — 16 days ago
Mousey and tannic. Really interesting dark fruit. This wine benefits from some oxygenation. Really good overall. — 10 days ago
This was a bit polarising. My wife really did not enjoy it and there were claims it tasted too much like banana 😂. There definately was a ripe fruit note but also stoney minerality and wood. Also a bit of sherry. Was something a bit different and would drink again. — 18 days ago

A med/med+ ruby-purple core. The nose is filled with mixed red to dark red fruits of cherry, blackberry, and currants. Subtle notes of spice come from the 70% stem inclusion and the syrah fruit. The highlight of the bouquet are these lifted and very aromatic floral tones that bring to mind violets and lilac florals, it adds an elegance and extra boost of complexity and draws the nose back a lot to get another whiff. On the palate, the wine is fresh, with excellent depth and length of flavors that sails into a sneaky, long, persistent and fresh finish. The acidity is more med+ than med, as are the fine, youthfully perceptible tannin. The body also feels perfectly in-between medium and med+. Delicious, complex, and a long, pretty finish, whats not to like? 92 now with potential up to 93 with a little more bottle age! — 5 days ago
