Tradition Vendagé Main a la Main Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2021

a well rounded Sancerre from Chavignol that Total Wine appears to have a majority of the US market share ~ green apple & pear, lime zest, citrus blossom, grass & hay ~ continues on palate w a little minerality & salinity — a month ago

Greystone

Thomas Brothers' Pinot Noir 2018

Dull ruby. Complex red fruit and oak spice on the nose does not hint at the depths of serious savoury bite and structure on the palate. Intense, tightly packed sour dark cherry, smoky mineral notes. Real energy and power. Reminds me of Rippon. The tannins are present but at one with the savoury oak. This is serious stuff, and would only improve from here. Estate bottling is a great wine but this is up there with the best I have had from NZ (and I’ve had a bit!) Fill your boots!! — 19 days ago

Pattes Loup (Thomas Pico)

Vent d'Ange Chablis Chardonnay 2019

A decidedly more natural approach to Chablis and I gotta say, this bottle was fantastic. All of the character one would expect from Chablis: bright citrus fruits, crushed shells, chalky minerals and racy acid…just amped up a little more than usual for a village wine. Theres an energy about this that’s truly compelling. Wow. — a month ago

Les Champs-Gain Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2013

Terrific. Layered and complex. This had 2 more gears than the 2010 Thomas Morey Puligny La Truffiere. Honeyed fruit. Long. — 22 days ago

Cuvée Thomas Vieilles Vignes Coteaux Bourguignons Pinot Noir 2019

Medium dark rubi robe, nose of wild cherries, flowers, spices and a hint of top soil. Medium bodied and very accessible now, but with 5 to 10 years potential. Its got to be best QPR in red burgundy we got in a long while. — a month ago
