Once again McKahn Family Cellars has produced a fantastic wine. Bouquet delivers a rich field of blooming lavendar. On first sip, the palate is overwhelmed with boysenberry, blackberry, and dark currant. Then comes a crunchy oaky pecan sensation. There’s black pepper and cigar box. Maybe a little vanilla extract in the background. The finish grips your tongue and gives it a little squeeze, reminiscent of fresh pine. It is very very dry and leaves me thirsting for more!!!!!! please visit McKahn Family Cellars and order this amazing wine you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!!! — 8 days ago
This is the 2018 Acappella Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the Corison Winery in St. Helena, California.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, spice, black pepper, pencil shavings and earth.
On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, black currant, licorice, vanilla, chocolate, spice, mint, black pepper, cedar and earth.
This is a full bodied wine with a smooth supple mouthfeel medium + acidity and a medium + fine mouthcoating tannins and leaves you with a long dark fruit crushed stone finish. The weekend looks to be very nice and wish you all good health. Please stay safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 20 days ago
1.5 hour decant (min sediment). A mysterious dark purplish ruby red color. On the nose: nice aromatics of dark cherry, vanilla, spice, a sweet licorice, floral. Taste: smooth, balanced, round wine with blackberry, dark chocolate, black pepper, little vanilla, earth, and a smokey espresso dry medium plus finish...a restrained kinda old world style (low 14% abv) Napa wine. Fun to drink this Saturday night. Cheers! — a month ago

After lots of oohs and ahhhs for the 2016 Brinkman a couple nights ago we pulled this. Still great, but the Brinkman was next level. — 5 days ago
