A big wine. Sells for 60 Euros which is steep and at 14,5% it clocks in. Cherry, non offensive and just too nice. For sure a Pinot on the top of its game. But for me it does not really provide a sense of place like for example the ones from Enderle & Moll. — 19 days ago
N: Rhubarb and dank, dark earth. Did anyone say Burg.? Leather, chocolate and some cinnamon. Red plums.
P: Initially very delicate, as it gains air, some more body comes out. Lots of fresh tilled earth, like cedar, gossamer,
forestall, very gently woodsy, nice and bright. A spätburgunder built for the summer. After an hour out, big black cherries really pop.

Nose has under-ripe strawberry, cotton candy, orange zest and cold stone slab.
Palate has sweet/ripe nectarine, ripe strawberry, warm clementine slice, frizzante-like texture to the finish, but no bubbles! Long finish, what an interesting wine!
Blind...no way I ever guess this as Spätburgunder!
Not sure exactly how this is classed as rosé in the Vinous world, if this wine saw any skin contact aside from the initial press operation, call me surprised. — 18 days ago

This is drinking so well now. Nose is stunning and floral. Spices galore. Amazing cherries and Xmas spice. Gingerbread. Lovely limestone background. Beautiful mid season cherries. Super sweet cherry fruit and velvety tannins. So tangy and concentrated. Amazingly pure. Before 2018/2019 this was the benchmark Thorle Pinot and nice to see it’s drinking so well. Terrific sweetness and the tannins are so good and come one more with air. Sweet, silky and velvety. — 6 days ago
