Rich ruby color with aromas of plum, cherry, and cocoa. On the bud, it’s a bit of strawberry with a great smoothness. — 18 days ago
Nice acidity, totally worked for thanksgiving turkey and all those unctuous sides — 6 days ago
This vintage of Pieve Santa Restituta is delicious. To be more specific: the best word to describe it is the English "smooth". The Polish "smooth" does not reflect the nuances. 🙂 Tannins pleasantly tighten the tongue. The acidity is perfect for me. Fleeting fruitiness on the nose, but none on the palate. Back to the nose: spices and herbs, especially thyme, some tobacco. I love the dryness of this wine. — 23 days ago
Drinking beautifully… dark cherry, light spice, fruit forward with tannins dissipating after 15 minutes in the decanter. This remains a marvelous Chianti in the traditional style as Laura Bianchi continues the legacy of this great family of vintners. — 7 days ago

Started off wary and cautious, then went ape shit with all the requisite autumn forest, damp earth, mature fruit, etc. Hard to ask for more. Strong ligaments, tendons and connective tissue. Minimal body fat. — 14 days ago
