Great daily drinker. Nice strawberry and blackberry with a nice rustic background.

Thinner than some vintages and a bit rustic. Loads of pretty cherries. Still a very good value.

Loads of lifted but dark fruit: blackberries, plums, cherries, rose and a herbal lavender/rosemary quality. Elegant and nicely balanced overall. Really shining on day two. Love.

A fine CC with tart cherry, steeped red tea, fig, leather, and light herb. But for the great ‘16 vintage, the palate feels a bit lean and simple. High acidity dominates. Paired with home made pizza nicely though.

This is a fine example CC, juicy, silky and some ripe dark cherry, plum. The velvet pallet is very enjoyable, earthy, leather and the Tuscany herb flavours. . 80% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo and 5% Syrah

This aged well. Bright but rustic. Cherries, leather, cola.

Fruity but not in your face. Subtle and sweet. Chelses liked after aerated and sat out. Gave it 15 mins in fridge before opening . Matt Norman has last week
