Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. All tasted blind as usual.
I had this about 6months ago and notes were similar. Main difference here is this initially smelled like it had American oak influence. Tar, Rose petal, and underripe black cherry. Because of my initial thoughts, I called this Rioja. Nice. — 2 days ago
Yellow to gold. Buttery, nutty, freshly baked bakeries; along with apples, apricot and pears. On the palate, rich and creamy, but also fresh and lively; beautiful contradictions. There's a distinctive aftertaste of minerals. Long finish. 94. — a month ago

Fantastic summer Chardonnay from Tuscany: light and refreshing but with interesting body, not heavy like California Chardonnay. — a month ago
