Great Western Pinot Meunier 2021

Amazing. Nose rakes me to baking paleo banana bread - baked apricot, almond meal. Bloody delicious — a month ago

Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier

Lieu Dit Malakoff Pyrenees Shiraz 2014

Dark ruby hue, near opaque. Aromas of blackberry, chocolate, leather, plum, and tar. Full-bodied, with robust (yet rounded) tannins and medium acidity. Strong, albeit smooth, finish of black fruit, earthy, and pepper. Complex yet accessible. Opens up over time, and well worth the wait. — 6 months ago

Glorious aged Great Western Shiraz. Perfumed, voluptuous and earthy. So gorgeous and perfect with our eye fillet! — 5 months ago

The Richardson Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Delectable, you might consider consolidating the three or more listings of this wine with slightly different labels. Very annoying having to pick between them. Been a while since I tasted this and was enjoyed over family dinner, not paying detailed attention to it. But definitely enjoyable and has softened since the last encounter, tannins integrated and medium bodied luscious fruit the driving force. Rather lovely. — 6 months ago

Mount Langi Ghiran

Cliff Edge Shiraz 2017

Consistent with previous notes earlier this year and also in 2020. Pepper and spice with plum and sour cherry. Riper notes than usual with this Cuvée. One of my favourites for around $30 in Australia. — 9 months ago

Chalambar Grampians Shiraz 2014

No formal notes but remains one of the value Dry Reds in Australia I believe - from Seppelts vast resources (Treasury Wine Estates). Red cherry and Red berries on nose and palate with earthy spicy nuances. Very easy to drink and would be accepted by all. Only $17.99 per bottle and I have 1 left. — 5 months ago

Foudre Ferment Great Western Riesling 2021

Awesome! Is this the best Foudre Ferment Rizza from Best’s to date? I think so. Impeccable balance and tremendous flavour intensity. — 6 months ago

St Peters Grampians Shiraz 2003

In its prime. Not the best vintage but still gorgeous mature Grampians Shiraz — 9 months ago

Great Western Riesling 2016

Aromas of talc, honeysuckle, lime and kaffir leaf (should go well with a curry). No Kero. Palate is almost off dry - lime, under ripe peach, touch of pear, low acid - drinking beautifully. Amazing value for $26. — 10 months ago
