This N/V Blanc is truly one of our favorites. On its own a 94 but, with an intermittent splash of white burgundy and caramel, Granny Smith apple, near perfect!
I’ve always wanted to this paring and last night it became reality. 🤩 😳 🍏 — 5 days ago
Vintage 2002 in 2020. This aged pinot noir is full of life and has a typical Burgundy nose: cherries, roses and earth notes. It is elegant and has enough acidity, (soft) tannins and fruit to age another 5 years or more. For me an another example that Burgundy wines, from a good vintage, can age beautifull 🍷 — 12 days ago
Best a bit above cellar temp. Da bomb! — 2 days ago
A bit funky on the nose. With air this opens up. Looks and tastes of its age. Kind of an iron note. Served blind. Guests guessed Pommard. I can’t say I disagreed with their guess even though it was incorrect. Seemed more like Pommard than Volnay to me. — 18 days ago
I’m sure there are bad vintages of this wine, but I haven’t had one yet. — 10 days ago
