Tiberio

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2023

Montepulciano in a particularly fresh, vibrant style, but there’s depth & elegance here too. Crushed blackberries, cassis, a bit of Ribena syrup. Every time I try this maker I feel compelled to lean in a bit closer. — a month ago

La Fiera Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Not Pinot Grigio. Bought 6/25 at Pine Orchard $7. Light in body, a bit acidic. — 2 months ago

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2024

Very good Montelpuciano especially with my veal scallopini and porcini mushrooms. Still young but very flavorful and fresh with cherry and red fruit flavors going on. Good Italian food wine at a reasonable price. — a month ago

Emidio Pepe

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2010

Opened at least an hour prior to service. The 2010 pours a burnished gold color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe apricots, candied yams, wet straw, rubber eraser, and all of the flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. There’s a whole lotta soul here and it’s showing really well! Drink now through 2030+ — a month ago

Very cool

Lunaria

Ramoro Pinot Grigio 2023

Cool critter label with a peacock. Copper color. Smells a bit honeyed. Flavors are stone fruits. Peach, apricots and yellow/green plums. Fuller than expected. Most balance I’ve gotten from a Pinot Grigio. This is good. Full and fleshy. — a month ago
