Drank last night. WTSO. Classic brunello profile with cherry dominating smell and taste. Mild tobacco>tar. Good length. Tannins very subtle to non-existent. In window. One more left drink it in the next 1-2years — 2 days ago
2018 vintage - Absolutely one of the best Pinot Noirs I have enjoyed. Silky smooth finish- Will definitely be getting again soon!! — 13 days ago
The first of 4 bottles from my cellar. The nose has blackberry, violets and dried herbs. The palate has that trademark Margaret River herbaceousness but in this warmer vintage more cassis, fine persistent tannins which go on forever - almost silky. Just a beautiful rendition of Margaret River Cabernet with a very long life in front of it - say 20 years. Cape Mentelle one of the early vineyards and down in the south near the town. — 14 days ago
Last of the three bottles. Quite oxidative notes. Very low minerality and even sweet.
V. Good wine but will definetly not hold it so long next time. Max 5-6 years. — 3 days ago
I think there’s no question who made the Champagne’s of the vintage in 2011, and that’s Cedric Bouchard. La Haute Lemblé shows everything I love in Bouchard’s vinous style wafting a focused stone fruit expression with gun smoke, white flowers and wet stones. The palate is straight satin with a crystalline purity, ripping lemony acids and a long and vibrant finish. Can never get enough of these wines. — 8 days ago
Tasted twice! Blend of 71% Cab Sauv, 8% Cab Franc, 9% Petit Verdot, 11% Merlot & 1% Malbec, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, tobacco, herbs and licorice. On the palate black cherry, raspberry and blackberry flavors with espresso, mocha, oak and earthy tobacco notes. Well balanced, great mouthfeel, medium acidity, fine ripe silky tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and toasty spice! Very Nice! Will age well for another decade! — 2 months ago

Remaining wine was Slow Decanted in

DAY 10
👃Less mint & more cooking spice vs Day 1
👅Volcanic earth and graphite with purple fruit, dark chocolate, tobacco, & licorice
Drinking well as a fruit forward wine. Will improve as tannins soften. Love the volcanic notes that dominate
