Very enjoyable. Nose has vibrant, sappy dark cherry juice, a bit of sweet spice, and warm, crushed-rock infused minerality and a little teeny bit of cow pasture. Savory, with nice flavor concentration in the mouth, nice minerality and zingy acids at the tail end of the finish. Whispy tannins. So drinkable now, but will be better in 2-4. — 8 days ago
This is a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Paso Robles. Easy drinking and spicy at this point.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with vanilla, licorice, cedar, earth, peppercorn, leather, tobacco, chocolates and coffee.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
Showing great complexity with a smooth mouthfeel. So pleasant and enjoyable by itself, and really gorgeous after 3 hours of airtime.
This 23 year old is not going to get any better with time, but it is delicious now. I just love these aged Bordeaux blends.
Interesting, elegant and rich. Fruit forward and extracted.
I've had a younger vintage of the Reserve a few years ago, and it is very consistent. Nice to see these quality wines out of Paso Robles.

Light and fruity with amazing colour in the glass. Very interesting and enjoyable to drink — 6 months ago
Concentrated black fruit on the nose & palate. More generous & forgiving than the single vineyard offerings right now. Yakima Valley Cabs always seem to start showing some fresh red currant character as they age & you can taste the hints of that on the mid palate of this young wine. Justin Neufeld is making some of the best Cabernet in Washington right now. — 3 years ago
