Too heavy and cloying to be enjoyable. I felt like a brick had hit my stomach after a few initial sips. Fruit is there but unbalanced and harsh.

Always a pleasant Companion for a thick ribeye. The fruit shows Paso Robles character in the intensity and extract. Dried figs, stewed black plums, blackberry. A sweet tobacco and vanilla bean finish with tannins that come out for the encore.

Still awesome after all these years. Great depth of flavor. Loads of dark fruit and chocolate. In my opinion, it can handle a few more years of aging if you have any spare bottles. Overall, a terrific Justin effort.

Peaking now. Fantastic fruit forward wine, and not hot despite its 15% alcohol.
