1hour decant(some chunky/fine sediment). A striking still dark magenta color with little bricking. On the nose: Inviting notes of sweet red/blue fruit, smoked meat, floral, worn leather, nutmeg, wet forest floor. Taste: velvety, smooth, elegant, savory mature wine with dried cherries, cocoa, leather, scorched earth, and a minerally mocha long lingering finish. YUM!! — a month ago

I had a 1997 just over 2 years ago. Even with a 4 hour decant it wouldn’t budge. Still have a mag of 97, I don’t know when to even think about opening that one.
Disappointed by the lack of balance. — 20 days ago
Beautiful fruit and structure. Opened up pretty quickly. Brought this bottle back from trip to France a couple years ago. — 16 days ago
Was fine, but nothing to write home about!✍️ — a day ago
Nose of dark and red fruit, tar, baking spice and some floral notes. Medium acidity plus acidity, long finish, plum, black pepper, well integrated tannins that is present but not in your face, black tea. — 8 months ago

Found something drinkable among the acres of plonk in the Juneau liquor store…pretty nice but could use a bit more integration. — 4 days ago
