Very ripe, bright red fruit. Overly jammy at first, but really opens up, adding some spice and a backbone. I gotta start decanting these young reds. — 2 days ago
Cedar and leather nose. Ruby with slight bricking at the edges. After an hour in the decanter, really began to show well. Savory, underbrush/bell pepper notes (balanced and not overwhelming), dried red fruit, hint of tobacco. Medium to lighter bodied, bright and fresh, and drinking younger than would be expected. — 6 days ago

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Tonight I have opened a beautiful 2011 Catherine & Pierre Breton Beaumont Chinon Cabernet Franc.
On the nose there is nice fruit strawberry, cherry, raspberry, green bell pepper, roasted red pepper, herbs and wet gravel.
On the palate the red fruit continues with strawberry, cherry, raspberry, green bell pepper, tomato, herbaceous and crushed gravel.
This wine is medium to full bodied that has a smooth fresh mouthfeel, medium to medium + acidity and med to medium + fine mouthcoating tannins that leaves you with a medium+ to long red fruit graphite finish. I am loving this Cab. Franc and is making this weekend more enjoyable. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 9 hours ago
Vintage 2010 | Elevenses-wine, we went to the church, drank coffee and then the sun shined on the terrace in the garden. What to drink? This eleven years old Loire curiosity: made from Romorantin and harvested late. Spicyness and honey in the smell, even a touch of petrol. A frivolous sweetness on the tongue, but when the wine is swallowed you think: my gosh, high acidity. A wine of contrasts that tastes very, very harmonious and reconciles you with Life. Special! — 14 days ago
