Poured into a Boa decanter about 30min prior to service. The 2016 “Santa Chiara pours a brilliant, deep and slightly hazy copper gold color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with desiccated apricots, dried apples, yellow flowers, and curaçao. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannins. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is super long and super amazing. This is such a wonderful bottle of Bea. When his whites hit, well…they really hit. Drink now with a short decant or over the next 3-5 years. Apple, lemon, dried apricot, honeydew melon and slate. Racy acidity and great minerality. — 5 months ago
This yellow-gold wine offers a nose of citrus and minerals, with plenty of the “wet sidewalk” aroma which typifies minerality. There is also a healthy blast of orange peel, lemon and herbal. The palate, I feel, is dominated by the Grechetto grape. The Chardonnay is there, as is the Sauvignon Blanc. However, the distinctive, earthy, stone fruit flavor must be the product of the Grechetto. The acidity is as fresh as it can be, and will make this an incredibly food-friendly wine. Would I drink this every day, if I could? Yes, I would. — 9 months ago

Pale pale lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and floral notes, fermented in stainless. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and lemon citrus with floral notes and lively acidity. Smooth finish ending with fruit and chalky mineral notes. — 2 months ago
