I really liked this varietal from the Perugia part of Umbria / you know, where the Bacci hazelnut chocolate kisses come from

Delicious! According to Wine Folly, if you close your eyes, it tastes like rose. Soooo true! Definitely buying this again!

Great for a sunny spring day like this. Pairs terrific with a caprese salad. Also with salmon and asparagus. Citrus, minerals, peach. Yummie!

Tropical fruit to start, and lemon to finish, plus a saline flavor. But the dominant flavor, especially as the wine breathes, is grass. The wine is so vegetal as to be unpleasant.

Great with calamarata! Citrus and stone fruit on the nose, more citrusy on the palate. Fresh, not too persistent, medium body. Umbria is a very interesting region.
