Delightful for the price. Full bodied deliciousness — 17 days ago
Solid white burg enjoyed on a summer afternoon on the patio. Concentrated and lively with plenty of stone fruit/star fruit and apple, rounded out with hints of creamy vanilla. — 2 days ago
2015 vintage. Many Côte de Beaune wines from the famous appellations like Meursault are out of reach for many winelovers, but thankfully there is terrific stuff to be found in less prestigious parts of Burgundy and Château de Chamirey is a safe bet. This "village" Mercurey comes from 6 different plots with predominantly limestone and clay soils. Malolactic and alcoholic fermentations in barrel. Ageing in lightly toasted barriques (15% new). Bright yellow fruit and flowers. In the mouth it displays the richness of the 2015 vintage, but with impeccable balance and very good length. The oak is perfectly integrated and it has a certain complexity and very good length. Very good value as it outperforms many a Meursault at half the price. Kudos to the Devillard family. Highly recommended. — 3 days ago

Graduation Day for our son Christopher. Hereford High 2021. Next stop University of Maryland, College Park. We are super proud!!!
Bottle 1... Deep red-purple with beautiful, equally-spaced staining legs. Herbs and wild flowers dominate the nose, but tart red fruit--mainly sour strawberry--on the palate. Perfect round medium plus body, medium plus acidity--perhaps even high, medium delicate tannins and a very long finish. Alcohol is medium plus. Drinkable now... As I'm currently drinking it... Better in another couple-three years.

Another great version of this Bouzeron. Lime zest and minerals on the nose. Super clean and fresh. Terrific palate. Has a lovely balance between richness and freshness. Textured and deep. Awesome purity, depth and structure. Love the combo of richness allied with freshness. Decent length. But what a mid palate. — 9 days ago
