2013 Vintage. 12% Alcohol. Great acidity and verve. Nice citrus notes and a bit of minerality. #garagiste wine that delivers the goods. Thanks Jon. — 3 years ago
This is nice. A game quality with the big dark berries, some funk, almost campfire, definite herbs. I think it fits the price. This would not be worth much more and I feel like I could find some other wines that taste like this in 11-15 dollar range. Probably from Trader Joe’s stash like this. — 4 years ago
Garagiste selection. $26.87. Great value Bordeaux. Fruity start with fine tannin finish. — 2 years ago
This is delicious. Fruity. Nice with garbanzo asparagus and pasta. Surprised it’s this old. From Garagiste. — 2 years ago
A new producer to me as in Garagiste from the Mornington Peninsula. Light to medium Ruby. Aromatic red fruits of Strawberry and Cranberry with a stalky whole bunch note. Fresh and young. Light in colour but medium intensity with medium dry tannins. Great QPR at $25 a bottle. Not for long keeping I would say. Had another one 71 weeks later on 17th November 2021 with consistent notes. Excellent value. — 3 years ago

This iteration of the Garagiste private label (from an undisclosed winery) is excellent, particularly in view of the vintage. Classic Nebbiolo nose of faded roses, macerated cherry, old barrel scents, spice (hint of cinnamon?), crushed stone, and porcini mushroom. Surprisingly soft on the palate for a ‘14, with deep cherry fruit, crushed stone, and spice flavors. Very nice flavor concentration. Nice acids and very soft tannin come though in the back half of the palate. — 4 months ago
