Soft finish with a small amount of spice. Dark fruit. Took a while to open up. — 6 months ago
This is a surprisingly good bottle of wine. I purchased it at the Union Square Wine Shop. — a year ago
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru has a backward bouquet of dark berry fruit, earthy and almost peat-like scents emerging with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, tart red cherries, white pepper and a touch of garrigue toward the long finish. This possesses real density and structure. Great potential. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, January 2022)

Very nice! Good berries up front and not just sweet strawberries; dark berries too. Good depth with a little earth/dairy on the finish. Went great with cheese and dry fruit platter! — 8 months ago
