Decent balanced Bordeaux. Dark berry/fruit and some oak; soft tannins. Lacks some depth. My wine pal gives it an 8.0 at best. Says I let it sit too long before opening-should have opened it a couple of years ago and it might of had more spice, smoke and depth. For the price I think decent value. — 2 months ago
Took a flier based on a recommendation from one of the few LCBO’rs I trust at my local. Did not disappoint. Good mid-bodied red at a decent price. Grenache adds some spice to to the fruit and herbs. Went well with some cheeses as a starter. Will get some more for an “everyday “ quaff. — 8 months ago
Finally the LCBO and I agree on a rating. This is the lower offering to the amazing Luce at a third of the price. Lots of dark berry, vanilla oak and some moca/chocolate. Truly a great value for an excellent super Tuscan wine. Will get better with age, but good now and surprisingly smooth for being so young. Dig it! — a year ago
Really like this producer. Have had better vintages but this 2017 did not disappoint. Citrus, minerals, but not overly sharp. Rarely available at LCBO, sadly. If you see it, buy it. — 6 months ago
Wow. This is an interesting full bodied blend. Primarily Petit Verdot and Malbec. Tons of plum and black cherry upfront with herbs and leather. Full of body and tannins. Needs a good decant given its youth and should be drank with food. — 8 months ago
Enjoying this wonderful medoc at Cassis I’m Calgary. One of my all time favourite restos - One of the things I miss about Calgary. Good berry and plum up front with peppery finish. A bit dry, but was good with fatty (read delicious) charcuterie plate we had to start. This one will age well.

Mediocre at best. Maybe aging for a few years will help - maybe. Very “herby” and lots of acid/alcohol taste up front; even after a long decant. Not much depth. Better options out there for the same price or slightly more (Sterling, Decoy, to name a couple). — a year ago
