Not sure this belongs to duboeuf...
The nose shows rose petal, cherry, pepper, hay and a tiny almond note in the rear that really peculiar for a gamay from there. The palate is superb, with a vibrant and juicy cherry note radiating through and through, some width, some matter, even more than what I expected, a subtle tannic layer in the rear, gently disturbing the mouthfeel, before a fruity and peppery finish that goes on for a good while. Well this is very much the kind of Beaujolais I dig. — 4 months ago
Same wine in the same vintage a couple of months after. Prior notes still apply very well.
A Non-intervention style Beaujolais with a bit of barnyard funk on the nose at first but superb ripe cherry notes right after. The palate is very well made, with a suberb cherry juice note, a great acid drive, some grippy tannins in the rear and a long and fruity finish with a tiny salty touch in the end. Right up my alley — 2 months ago
Super easy drinking red that can go with everything. Love how you can have it chilled or cool room temperature. It's light with some cherry and licorice. It's a fun, easy beaujolais. Love a good chillable wine and can totally see myself drinking this on the regular.
Color: dark rich red color like a red plum. Reminds me od communion grape juice and wine but with a lovely red halo.
Aroma: light aroma with some black cherry scents and a super light licorice under aroma, super light.
Taste: Served slightly chilled. It's super light like a beaujolais, some light black cherry. It kinda reminds me of cherry dr pepper but not sweet and light and delicate in flavor. — 7 months ago
Really enjoyed this. Light and fruity. Helen's — 2 years ago
A racy Chiroubles. Charming purple dress, medium concentration and beautiful brilliance. Superb peppery nose, airy between bright floral bouquet (Rose, Iris) and vibrant fruits (cherry and raspberry). Concentration, as expected on solar vintages. The mouth is fresh, tense, with few tannins but beautiful chew. Great drinkability, served refreshed (12/14 degrees) and airy, it's a dangerous drink!
— 2 years ago
