This 50/50 Syrah-Grenache is a terrific value. Intensely stony, mineral nose shows some roasted green herbs and tiny, very dark berry fruit. Savory and minerally in the mouth, it’s lighter on its feet than the saturated color and mineral profile suggest, with an orange zest note in the clingy finish. And only 13.5%, to boot! — 4 days ago
A great wine, just my style, no oak tasted, pure bliss with an acid , mineral touch🇫🇷 — 3 months ago
This seemed a bit overextracted on night 1, with a little scorchy note on the nose and some bitter tannin on the finish.
But on night 2, that’s all gone. Nose is showing plummy, sweet dark cherry fruit, moist leather, and some humid gravel. Soft and savory in the mouth, with fine-grained tannin and a long finish. Not super complex but very nice. LET IT BREATHE! — 4 months ago
I really like this. Not too sweet and not too dry. — a month ago
Good minerality, light citrus melange, great with food! — 3 months ago
Nose of cherries, violets, beef fat, bell pepper, black pepper, fennel, and top soil. So good.
Those red fruit and floral notes come through with some licorice and a touch of beefy meatiness and leather. Medium body acidity and tannins.
Another delicious, balanced Loire red. So good for such a small price. — 4 months ago
