Consorzio Vini Tipici di San Marino

Riserva Brugneto Sangiovese 2016

Surprisingly good, cranberry-flavored Sangiovese with a nice rustic earthiness to it. San Marino has produced a Sangiovese worth trying, especially at its very low price point. Definitely worth buying this wine. — 3 days ago

San Valentino Sangiovese Blend 2009

2009. Opened up in 10-15 minutes and was a bright complex cherry prominent accompaniment to the homemade spaghetti and meatballs my daughter made for us. — 2 days ago

Bodega Catena Zapata

High Mountain Vines San Carlos Cabernet Franc 2017

Vintage 2017 | a few years cellaring is very profitable! Dark colour, warm comforting smell with spices and a hint of pepper bell next to morello cherries. Full bodied taste with good balance and also slight pepper bell impression. Very good effort. | paired with beef steak — an hour ago

The same with their Lunlunta Malbec, opened a forgotten 2018 bottle of 7€ and man what an amazing improvement 👍

Bishop's Peak

San Luis Obispo County Pinot Noir 2020

Delectable Wine
9.1

This 2020 Pinot Noir opens with zesty raspberry, blood orange and rose aromas, along with hints of cola and baking spices. Juicy, seamless and energetic in style, it offers sweet red berry and floral pastille flavors. Fine-grained tannins shape the finish, with spice-driven persistence. $24.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, May 2022) — 8 days ago

Neyers

Evangelho Vineyard Mourvedre 2018

Earthy and dark fruited. At first I was worried the fruit was stewed, but it’s not at all. Ripe but good balance. Nice wine. 13.4% — 6 days ago

Williams Selyem

San Benito County Pinot Noir 2015

Williams Selyem Central Coast Pinot Noir 2015: Medium-light bodied. Well balanced. Red fruit dominate followed by blueberry, spice, oak & earth. For me, first time trying & enjoying their Central Coast Pinot. Not the most complex but absolutely delicious, delightful and easy to drink! Enjoy the nice weather & happy Sunday to all! Cheers🍷 — 12 days ago

Tessier

Femme Fatale Christie Vineyard Pinot Noir Rosé 2021

Empty bottle shot? Yes, it was that good.

It’s too bad you can’t see the lovely transparent, but electric Fuschia color. Lots of time in contact with the skins — 12 hour maceration and lovingly foot tread prior to press, so drinks more like a light red than a white. There’s real Pinot fruit and Santa Cruz mountain character here: strawberries, rose hips, stones, fresh herbs, cool breezes blowing through the redwoods. Many layers. Rosé of the summer.

San Giorgio

Ugolforte Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

On the nose cherry, violet, rust, forest floor and complexity. Very smooth acid with soft tannins. Tart but fruity for Italian. Absolutely well balanced and delicate. — 6 days ago
