With Jancis Robinson’s 16/20, James Suckling’s 91 - and “drink or hold ” until 2022 recommendations, my choice was to uncork the bottle now and no regrets whatsoever - my best Blaye so far. — 14 days ago

Cigar, earth, cherries. Deep and rich. Punches way above its price point. Actually got me to get back on to Delectable since I had to see if anyone else discovered this wine. Wow! — a month ago
Tonight I have opened the 2018 Château D'Aiguilhe Comtes von Neipperg. From Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux on the Right Bank. Blend of 80%Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
On the nose is black cherry, black plum, black raspberry, green bell pepper, black olive, herbaceous notes, mocha and cedar.
On the palate there is black cherry, black raspberry, plum, black currant, green bell pepper, herbs and cedar.
A beautiful medium to full bodied wine with a silky and succulent mouthfeel with medium + acidity and medium + fine tannins that has a long dark black and blue fruit finish. The weekend has started and everyone seems, from what I see, feels this pandemic is finally over. Please continue to be careful out there and stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 5 days ago
