The 2021 Rosato is irresistible and decidedly savory in the glass, with wild herbal tones and wet stone giving way to crushed apricots and lime zest. This envelopes the palate in soft textural fruits, while mixing saline-minerals with brilliant acidity, as gingery spices mount toward the close. It tapers off more salty than sweet, yet nicely refreshing, while leaving wild strawberry tones to linger. The word ‘yum’ does not do this justice. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2022) — a month ago

Deep garnet. Plum, tar, cherry, olive, oak. Med+ body, pretty high tannin, med+ acidity, dry. 14.5%. Young, lively, smooth yet tannic, well integrated. Yum. — 20 days ago
This Chianti needs to be open at least 1 hour before consuming. It opens up into a powerful Chianti with elegant red fruit to start and an astringent finish. Not as good as other vintages I have had of this wine but still excellent. — a month ago

Had a memorable experience in Milan where it was used to decorate the restaurant. A guy was mansplaining to his GF in Italian, but we could tell she hated it. Then came back to NYC and found it was easily available at eataly — 10 days ago
