First impressions - a bit oaky. It’s a pity when some Tuscan producers prefer to use French Barriques instead of traditional large Slovenian Bottis, as is tradition and let the grapes do the talking. Mid Ruby in colour - dried earthy cherries. You can taste the extra sunshine in this vintage. Medium plus tannins to finish off. A killer of a food wine - went well with pasta. A little astringent after a few hours. Had another bottle on 16th November. Just a handy quaffer. — 7 months ago
Made with Chardonnay and Chardonnay Muscaté grapes. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, honey and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, pear and lemon, well balanced, crisp, lively acidity, medium length ending with chalky mineral character. Very nice! Good value! — 3 months ago
Clearly aimed to be a more extracted, fuller style. Not sure if it’s just some proportion of dried grapes or something else. It’s very good, and at its peak. Deep umami nose has dark, dried berries, leather, moist earth, dark chocolate. Dark fruit and dark chocolate on the palate, with soft, but prominent and drying tannins bearing forth a terra cotta tile finish. Again, it’s very good, I’m just a bit annoyed that it kind of hides where it’s from. — 4 months ago
Grapes from small Paso Robles AVAs blocks, aged in 75% new oak for 18 mos. Dark Ruby, aromas of sweet ripe black fruits, smoky tobacco and pepper spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with herb, cacao, espresso and vanilla oak, after it opened up. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cacao, vanilla and earthy herbs. Good but let this age for a couple of years. — 8 months ago
All of the grapes from the vineyards owned by the Latter family are vinified and aged in the cuverie of Château Corton Grancey in Aloxe-Corton. The winery was the first purpose-built cuverie in France and remains the oldest still-functioning. Medium pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits with a slight nutty floral character. On the palate flavors of peach and melon with lemon citrus and savory notes. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak and minerality. Nice! — 4 months ago

Fun well balanced blend of lots of grapes and always slightly different but always delicious. A good choice to go with food. Had with Philly cheese steak sandwiches. — 10 months ago

Elegant Ruby color with red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for about 12 months in French oak, signature blend of grapes from Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of herb, licorice and wet stone notes. Soft dusty tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Very Nice!
