One of the bottles that didn’t go bad in storage yay, very very good — a month ago
Crunchy red berries and blueberry, rosemary and other herbed de Provence aromas as well, lively acidity, lovely balance, doesnt show heat (even though it’s 14.5% ABV), long, lingering finish, beautiful old vine (70+ years) Carignan from a vineyard at 2,400 feet elevation in Mendocino County!! — 2 months ago
These folks know how to make Chardonnay. Honeysuckle, nectarine, bruised white peach and very subtle oak on the nose. Lemon curd, bruised stone fruit, honey, raw hazelnut, yeast and wet cement on the palate. Feels like at least partial malolactic fermentation but I would not be surprised if this spent time in concert or foudres. Really well made. Complex and interesting. — an hour ago
Slight nod over the Rivers-Marie 2013 Gioia (still very fruit driven) and Failla 2013 Occidental Ridge. The Littorai was the most evolved and Burgundian of the bunch. — a month ago
Complex SB from NZ. Cucumber veggie notes with minerality such as flint etc — a month ago
Very very good. Fruity but balanced. Not carneros tasting at all. — 6 hours ago
Consistently excellent Bordeaux-style red blend
(Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc)
Fruit forward cherry, plum, blackberry, with a nice oakey finish

2022. Dark opaque purple. Rich cherry berry flavors with medium-low tannins, but enough to pair well with a pan-seared steak and crispy local oyster mushrooms. — 10 days ago
