Built from 25 vineyards in nine counties, the Turley Juvenile is a summation of California Zinfandel in a single bottling. The ‘22, released this spring (‘24) is an excellent example, with bright berries and soft florals layered over darker fruits and a wonderfully smooth texture. Highly drinkable now and for the next several years. Let’s hope it stays one of the great bargains in California wine. — 2 years ago

A beautiful Chardonnay! Only 15 acres planted with grapes grown in Rutherford (warmer with rich ripe fruit) & Oak Knoll (cooler with fresh acidity in grapes). Pale lemon, with fresh & crisp citrus & stone fruit aromas, no malolactic ferm. Palate shows peach, apple & Asian pear flavors, with lemony & toasty notes, lively acidity & balance with touch of vanilla oak (9 months of French oak aging (25% new & 1-year old, remainder neutral oak). Long finish ending with fruit, spice & biscuit notes. Nice Value! — 6 years ago

Can’t beat it for that price, best 25year out thereBlend of about 65% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot and rest Petit Verdot. Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit aromas and herb notes. On the palate black raspberry and blackberry, currant-like, with tobacco, leather and smoky oak notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and earthy mineral tones, drink now. — 6 months ago
The traditional family dinner for Xmas with a wine tasting - I always wanted to taste the 25 and 26 side by side :). The 25 is a wonderful rendition that keeps delivering on the promise of LPGS. Crisp and balanced. — 9 months ago
An excellent blend of 75 % Cabernet and 25% Syrah. It went well with the ribeye steak at California Pizza Kitchen. Many thanks to Chris and Ron for bringing it to our vacation in Solana Beach. — 5 years ago
2016 vintage drinks nicely, and at $25-30 for an Oak Knoll Napa is an incredible value. — 6 years ago
Tastes good but $25. You can find better wine for less — 6 years ago
After hearing of Arnaldo’s passing today, we decided to have a bottle of the 25th anniversary bottle. This is really a great wine for such a difficult grape…a masterpiece. Dark ruby red with aromas of dark cherry, blueberry, plum, tobacco, and stew fruits. On the bud, it luscious and smooth. The tannins are present, but just right. The finish is long. Cherry, licorice, and stewed fruit flavor. — 8 months ago
Incredible depth and breadth on this 25 year old. Still boasting tannins that are round and firm. Meaty, chewy and impeccable, with a bresaola nose, dried blackberry, cassis, chocolate, espresso, cedar and tobacco. Black cherry, graphite, maduro cigar, blackberry, and bay.

"Odedi"
Light golden in color.
Beautiful nose of honeydew, apples, honeysuckle, tropical fruits, spices and melons.
Full-bodied with high acidity and long legs.
Sweet on the palate with apples, citrus, mangoes, spices, honeysuckle, herbs, honey and light earth.
Long finish with sweet honey notes.
This delicious 9 year old Sauternes is drinking beautifully now. Complex and interesting. Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Feels very fresh, but a bit subdued and earthier right now, compared to other vintages. Will continue to age nicely in the next 40 years.
Loved the nose more than the palate here. So expressive.
