Very enjoyable. Impressive fruit, some spice and heat. Delicious and vibrant still, better w food. — 6 years ago
It’s been 15 years since I visited Yalumba, but this bottle was a great reminder of how excellent their wines are. Fully resolved and probably on peak plateau, this was just delightful. Brambly fruit, saddle, great terroir, yum. — 5 years ago
Excellent. Dark garnet robe, nice legs, tannins evident but resolved. Slow ox’d and drank with pork loin, which proved to be a smashing idea. Delicious. — 5 years ago
On the wane. With air it put on weight and complexity but never soared. Delicious and well built, but not sensational, and past prime. — 5 years ago
This was incredible. Tannins are resolved but with some air this really started singing. Youthful in appearance, huge fragrant nose, clean fruit w secondary characteristics beginning to show. Prob still room to improve but def open for business. A real treat. — 5 years ago
This was fantastic. Wild, fruit, vinous, dry finish. A real treat. — 5 years ago
Past prime but very nice — 5 years ago

Man I forgot what a beast this wine is. Amazing fruit, beginning as dried and prunish but w air turns brambly, then more reddish. A bit of heat on the backend is tempered well by food. This wine is still showing young, I’d say entering prime drinking window. Wow. — 5 years ago
