Wow! Couleur ne montre aucun signe de fatigue. Arômes fines d'agrumes, nectarines, fleurs blanches. Une bouche parfaite, finesse, fraîcheur, élégance, belle acidité, équilibre et classe, surtout une finale interminable. 95-96
Colour shows no sign of aging. Such a classy nose and wine, light citrus, white flowers too, such class, elegance and balance, so fresh and deep too, extremely long finish. — 3 days ago
Drank 8/6/22
Excellent with grilled lamb chops
Decanted 1 hour.
On the nose blackberry, plum, and a touch of soil. On the palate blackberry, raspberry, cedar, leather, and hints of earth. Very well balanced with medium, well integrated tannins. Long finish with black fruit, soi,l and wood. I don't see this getting much better. Drink now and over the next 5 years. Delicious!

Sweet tobacco notes interspersed with woodsy mushrooms, warm rye bread with toasted sesame and grill notes. Cherry and baked currant tart. Silky soft cherry open reveals exquisitely suspended smoke framing black cherry and cedar dusted black currant and dried blackberry with sage and nutmeg.

Very oaky on nose and palate. Far more oaky than the Syrahmi Heathcote X Shiraz I had prior to this. Ripe plums, dark chocolate and a little black pepper from a good vintage in the Barossa. This is the first of 6 bottles and will probably have one every 2 years until the early 2030s. A pity the oak is still so prominent after 12 years because the fruit was excellent - just smothered by mocha. Many will still like the style however. — 11 days ago

Annata Biondi-Santi. This is absolutely delicious. Always special from this producer. Love the color. Classic Sangiovese. Orange rimmed next to the pale red. Balanced between some grippy but delicate tannins and approachable fruit. The nose has some spice and some earth but they don’t bring a kick so much as depth. The bottom line is you can tell it’s great because the wine drinks so fast! — 7 days ago
