Not good. Insipid and uninspiring.

We opened this beautiful Cava, the 2020 Ravantós i Blanc Conca del Riu Anoia Extra Brut Cava Rose. From Catalonia Sant Sadurni D'Anoia, Spain. A blend of 44% Xarel-lo, 39% Macabeo, 12% Parellada and 5% Monastrell.

On the nose is strawberry, lemon, white peach, lime peel, almond and a bit of minerality.

On the palate there is strawberry, citrus, lemon, lime peel, tarragon, hazelnut, yellow apple and minerality.

This wine is medium bodied with an onion skin color with a bone dry mouthfeel medium + to high acidity that leaves us with a long fresh citrus wet rock finish. At $23 you can't go wrong. This will hang with the best sparkling wines. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend please stay safe and healthy heading into this week ahead. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

This is just such a tasty and expressive bottle. We bought a few and I’m sad that this was the last one. Fresh strawberries and raspberries, a little toast, a touch of cream, but still dry and features the perfect dash of salinity. All this alongside wonderful amounts of fizz. I could make this my house standard.

Bright cherry lemon zest and super clean finish. More palate cleanser and less dimensional. L-12-11-19. WHW

Blasting cherry and stong strawberry aromas, fragrant. Wild berry flavors, almonds and some leesy notes. Pink hues, dry palate and simply over delivering. Great sparkling from the family that brought you Freixenet. #sparklingwine #cava #wine

Founded in 1986 by Josep-Maria Raventos, member of the Codorníu family, creating a small, quality-oriented winery standing apart from the large co-ops. A blend of 40% Xarel-lo, 36% Macabeu, 18% Parellada, 6% Monastrell. Red berry and floral aromas with fine bubbles. On the palate strawberry and cherry with mineral yeasty notes on the lingering finish, good balance. Hand harvested and secondary fermentation rests for 15 months before disgorgement. A nice bargain. Tasting Sample.

Peachy yellow. A bit oaky and dirty on the nose to start but then opens up with some minerality and light fruits. Fresh acidity (5.5/10) and light plus body. Notes of strawberries, cherries, and gravel. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2021.

Don't judge this by the first aromas. Very interesting nose the first day. Like wild grape varieties (40% Xarel-lo, 36% Macabeu, 18% Parellada, 6% Monastrell). Intriguing and enjoyable, well made. SS

Strawberry cotton candy, roasted almonds and minerals. Possibly better than last vintage. Absolutely delicious and better than a ton of champagnes at literally half the price.
