Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 “Visol” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach, lemon, light brioche, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. There is a chalky mineral and almost fino sherry-like finish, which is medium. Mestres does such a great job. Drink now. — 9 months ago

Vintage 2015 | What a treat! Made from Chardonnay, Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parraleda with 42 months sur lie. Expressions of pear, anise in smell, clearly develops flowery aroma’s in smell in the glass. Three words for the taste: elegance, refinement and finesse. Paired it with scrambled eggs for Sunday breakfast and will accompany Spanish mussels au gratin in the afternoon. Yummie. — 5 years ago
