Fruity without being sweet — 5 months ago
2018 vintage. Léoville-Poyferré-involved concern. 73% Malbec 18% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Petit Verdot 3% Syrah 1% Cab Franc. 100% delicious. Medium/medium-heavy body. Nice balance of grip/zip and sleeko suave. Can hold its own in a street fight now or be the scheduled, 12-round, main event in 2040-your choice. $28.85 resto cost on 3 cases. 14.5% ABV. Definite big red blend value contender. 04.13.25. — 11 days ago
Chocolatey, meaty, soft tannins. The pizza of wines - nothing bad about that. — 3 months ago

Black cherry, raspberry, vanilla, currant, eucalyptus and oak. Fill-bodied and soft tannins. — 4 months ago
2016 is a relatively week vintage for Argentina Malbec but this shows exceptionally well.
Fragrant and layered, the nose shows ripe blackberries, plums, vanilla, nutmeg, touch of tobacco, and hint of dusty violets. Juicy and refined palate with fine balance of fresh acidity and plush fruits. Velvety tannins.
Not very complex and deep, but this has the elegance that I don’t often see with bottles in this price range. Peaking now. — 5 months ago

Primarily Malbec with some Cabernet Sauvignon blended in. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of cooked dark cherry/berry fruit, violets and fresh herbs. Flavors of jammy black cherry, dark plums, black licorice, baking spices, fresh thyme and rosemary. Hint of black pepper spice on the long and luxurious smooth finish. Nicely integrated tannins and noticeable acidity. Wonderful harmony and more savory than I was expecting. Pleasant surprise. — 10 days ago
